Summary:PURPOSE: A traffic light using light emitting diodes is provided to protect an LED lamp used for a traffic light and inform a vehicle and pedestrian of crosswalk situation with one light emitting unit. CONSTITUTION: A traffic light visually informs the passing of crosswalk(1) of a pedestrian. A case(10) has a rectangular parallelepiped shape. A light emitting unit(20) is installed in the case, LED lamps of Red(R) and Green(G) are installed in the longitudinal direction of the crosswalk, two by two. A first light guide(31) totally reflects light emitting from a pair of red and green LED lamps in the moving direction of a vehicle. A second light guide(32) guides light emitting from the other red and green LED lamps in the crosswalk direction. A light guide unit(30) consists of a first light guide and a second light guide.
