Abstract | An apparatus for displaying a function mode of an input interface and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily recognize the current function mode and available modes by automatically displaying the currently selected function mode via a change of a light source. An apparatus for displaying a function mode of an input interface comprises a mode recognizing unit(20) and a light source displaying unit(30). The mode recognizing unit(20) includes a mode change recognizer(21) and a light source feature setting unit(22). The mode change recognizer(21) recognizes change of a function mode. The light source feature setting unit(22) sets a light source feature of the recognized function mode. The light source displaying unit(30) includes a light emitting device selector(31) and a light emitting device driver(32). The light emitting device selector(31) selects a light emitting device matched with the set light source. The light emitting device driver(32) adjusts driving signal strength of the selected light emitting device. |
