Summary: | An apparatus for exfoliating a film protecting layer is provided to eliminate the need of expendable adhesive tapes, thereby reducing the production cost, by exfoliating the film protecting layer from a polarization film using an adhesive roller when removing the film protecting layer. An apparatus is configured to remove protection layers(4a,4b) attached on a polarization film(3) for a substrate of an LCD. The apparatus comprises a film supporter(11) for supporting the polarization film. A roller(20) has an adhesive material on an outer surface thereof to be attachable to the protection layers. A roller supporter(30) rotatively supports the roller. A driver(40) drives the roller supporter such that the roller, on which the protection layer is attached, is movable to the polarization film. |
