Abstract PURPOSE: A mixer is provided to reduce the number of elements, to simplify the circuit, to reduce cost and to decrease the size. CONSTITUTION: The VHF mixing circuit MIXV is constituted by npn-type transistors Q84 to Q89, resistance elements R80 to R82 and constant current sources(I45,I46). The base of the transistor Q84 is connected to the output of the VHF local oscillation circuit OSCV and the base of the transistor(Q87). The emitter of the transistor(Q84) is connected to the emitter of the transistor(Q85) and the collector of the transistor(Q88). The collector of the transistor(Q84) is connected via the resistance element(R80) to the line of the power source voltage VCC, and the connection point between the collector and the resistance element(R80) is connected to the collector of the transistor(Q86) and further connected to one input of the IF amplifier AMPIF. The base of the transistor(Q85) is connected to the output of the VHF local oscillation circuit OSCV and the base of the transistor(Q86), and the collector is connected to the other input of the IF amplifier AMPIF. The emitter of the transistor(Q86) is connected to the emitter of the transistor(Q87) and the collector of the transistor(Q89). The collector of the transistor(Q86) is connected to one input of the IF amplifier AMPIF.
