Abstract | PURPOSE: A method for preparing a thermoplastic resin is provided, to improve impact resistance and to lower the gloss of a thermoplastic resin applied to the interior component of a car and the housing of office machines. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of mixing (a) the emulsion graft ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) resin obtained by emulsion polymerizing a vinyl aromatic compound monomer and an unsaturated nitrile monomer onto the butadiene-based rubber polymer latex with an average diameter of 0.25-0.35 micrometers and (b) the bulk suspension ABS resin obtained by dissolving a butadiene-based rubber whose gel content is 20% or less into the mixture of a vinyl aromatic compound monomer and an unsaturated nitrile monomer and bulk/suspension polymerizing them, with (c) a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer resin. |
