Summary:PURPOSE:To simplify a device and a control system and also to prevent water balance in a system from being disturbed by bringing the aq. solns. contg. dissolved gas different in concn. respectively into contact with the respective membrane surfaces of a hydrophobic porous membrane. CONSTITUTION:Aq. solns. contg. dissolved gas different in concn. respectively are brought into contact with the respective membrane surfaces of an artificial gill being a hydrophobic porous membrane. For example, liquid of a CO2 dissolving tank 101 is circulated to the artificial gill 104 built-in with hollow yarn formed by the hydrophobic porous membrane made of PP with a pump 103. On the other hand, liquid of an O2 dissolving tank 102 is circulated to the artificial gill 104 with a pump 105. By such operation as this, in the artificial gill 104, both the liquid high in CO2 concn. and the liquid high in O2 concn. are brought into contact with the respective surfaces of the membrane and while keeping the concn. difference of the dissolved gasses as driving force, CO2 is transferred to the liquid in the O2 dissolving tank 102 from the liquid in the CO2 dissolving tank 101 via the membrane and on the other hand, O2 is transferred to the liquid in the CO2 dissolving tank 101 from the liquid in the O2 dissolving tank 102.
