Summary:PURPOSE:To make shape-holdability and stacking property excellent at the time of distribution and to prevent the increase in a head space at the time of use, by bonding an outer layer having rigidity and a flexible inner layer over the entire surface of a receiving recessed part in a releasable manner. CONSTITUTION:A receiving recessed part 1 is a content receiving part. An outer layer 2 having rigidity is formed by laminating a barrier layer, for example, composed of polyvinyl chloride, a polypropylene resin or a polystyrene resin to be made higher than a flexible inner layer 3 in rigidity and the inner layer 3 is formed using a laminate with the barrier layer composed of a material deforming with the reduction of content, for example, polyamide or an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer. The outer layer 2 and the inner layer 3 are bonded over the entire surface of the receiving recessed part 1 in a releasable manner and the bonding strength thereof is set to about 5-50g/20mm width so that both layers are made easy to release and prevented from release by external force at the time of distribution. In manufacturing this composite container, the rigid plastic sheet becoming the outer layer 2 and the flexible plastic sheet becoming the inner layer 3 are preliminarily laminated in a releasable manner and this laminated sheet is molded by vacuum molding or pressure forming to form the receiving recessed part.
