Abstract PURPOSE:To enable geometrical control of a sheet shape by engaging a screw formed to the root end of a sleeve roll with a driving screw supported to a casing, stopping the sleeve roll so as not to rotate in the axial direction thereof and sliding the roll. CONSTITUTION:A liquid injection space 5 having an annular section is interposed between the sleeve roll 1 having a curved outside diameter and a roll shaft 4 and a key 8 is inserted therein to prevent the rotation of the sleeve 1 and the shaft 4. A thrust ring 14 is engaged via the screw 16 to the sleeve 1 and a pinion shaft 12 is pivotally supported to the casing 10 formed integrally with a chock 2. A ring 14 is provided turnably by a spur gear 14. The sleeve 1 is slid in the axial direction of the shaft 4 by the key 8 when the shaft 12 is driven by a motor and the rotating force thereof is transmitted to the sleeve 1 through the screw 16 by turning of the ring 14. The sleeve roll is thereby axially shifted and the crown control thereof is executed.
