Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the title developer exhibiting superior developability and transferrability, useful for electrophotography, etc. and having specified ranges of powder vol. resistivity and solid vol. resistivity by blending a binding resin, magnetic body powder and an electric conductivity regulator. CONSTITUTION:To 100pts.wt. of a binding resin such as epoxy type, polyester type or vinyl type resin are added about 20-250pts.wt. of powder of a magnetic body such as tri-iron tetroxide, di-iron trioxide or ferrite and an electric conductivity regulator such as an ionic of nonionic surfactant, carbon black, Al dust or silver dust, esp. preferably carbon black in an amt. of 10-30wt% to the amt. of the resin or 5-15wt% to the total amt. of the resulting toner. They are mixed, and the toner is prepared so that the electric resistance of the composition becomes 10 -10 OMEGAcm in powder vol. resistivity and 10 -10 OMEGAcm in solid vol. resistivity.
