Abstract | PURPOSE:To make it possible o form a thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in moldability, tensile strength, tear strength, abrasion resistance, heat resistance and oil resistance, by mixing a vinyl aromatic compound/ conjugated diene block copolymer of specified structure with a polybutadiene. CONSTITUTION:This composition contains the following vinyl aromatic compound/conjugated block copolymer A and/or the following vinyl aromatic compound/conjugated diene block copolymer B: a polymer [A] containing 15-95wt.% vinyl aromatic compound, represented by the generated formula: A-B-A or formula I (wherein A is a vinyl aromatic compound polymer block, b is a copolymer of a conjugated diene with a vinyl aromatic compound, n is 3-6, and X is a residue of a coupling agent) and having a weight-average MW of 20,000-500,000 and a polymer [B] containing 20-80wt.% vinyl aromatic compound, represented by formula I (wherein A is a vinyl aromatic compound) polymer block, B is random copolymer block of the vinyl aromatic compound with the conjugated diene, X is as defined above, and n is 2-6) and having a weight-average MW of 20,000-500,000. |
