Abstract | PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of operation for patching and rereading an image and to extremely improve operability by providing a means for synthesizing read image data with stored image data and storing in a storage device. CONSTITUTION:Before a reader 5 reds a novel original image to the stored picture data in the storage device 2, whether a synthesis with the picture data is executed or not is displayed on a display device 1. When an instruction for synthesizing and reading the image is inputted from an input device 3, an entirely controller 5 sets a reading range, stores this range set value in the device 2 and sets to a reading start position. At the time, the reader 5 mounted on a printing heat part is moved to the reading start position. Thereafter, the novel original image is read by the reader 5. This read image data is stored in the device 2. In such a way, the synthesized and read data is outputted to an output device 4 to obtain a synthesized image. |
