Abstract PURPOSE:To feed a constant amount of powder always stably in a powder transfer device for foods or the like by supporting a powder container by means of resilient members such as springs or the like so that the container is oscillated, and by blowing gas into the layer of powder which is therefore fluidized so that the powder is extracted from the fluidized bed through an orifice valve. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined amount of powder is charged into a vertical container 11 which is oscillated by driving an oscillating motor 13. Further, a compressor 8 is driven to blow gas into the container through a valve 53, a flow meter 72, a valve 54 and a powder dispersion member 32 so that the powder is fluidized. Then, the powder is extracted from an powder discharge port 24 through a throttle valve 61 by a fixed amount, and is fed into the next process station through a dust collector 43. In parallel with this extraction, powder is continuously fed into the container 1 from a material container 42 through a valve 52, a supply port 22 and a powder dispersion member 31. With this arrangement, powder is continuously and stably fed.
