PURPOSE:To reproduce a faithful color and picture by dividing a horizontal deflecting electrode into plural, providing a driving circuit for every divided electrode, and executing a horizontal deflecting operation. CONSTITUTION:Memories 36, 37, 38 having deflecting data as a numeric value for controlling the divided horizontal deflecting electrodes 60, 61, 62, a memory controller 34 for controlling the access to 6 memories of the individual memories 36, 37, 38 for a horizontal period and to 240 memories for one screen and latch circuits 45, 46, 47 for simultaneously outputting the outputs of the individual memories 36, 37, 38 to D/A converters 48, 49, 50 of a next step are provided. The deflecting voltage of the horizontal deflecting electrodes 60, 62 at both the ends is controlled, thereby, the deflection in electron beam between the left end and the right end of a screen is corrected and the electron beam can be applied to the center of a fluorescent material.
