Abstract | PURPOSE:To provide a vinyl chloride resin compsn having excellent appearance, matteness, processability, etc., by blending a vinyl chloride copolymer contg. polyethylene glycol, di(meth)acrylate with a specified acrylate copolymer and a plasticizer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. vinyl chloride copolymer (A) having an average degree of polymn. of 400-1,000 and contg. 0.05-3wt% polyethylene glycol di(meth) acrylate is blended with 1-20pts.wt. methyl methacrylate/alkyl acrylate copolymer (B) having a viscosity-average MW of 400,000-1,000,000 and a glass transition point of 60-90 deg.C and 20-150pts.wt. plasticizer (C) (e.g., dioctyl phthalate). Molded products obtd. from the resulting vinyl chloride resin compsn. do not form flow marks, weld lines, etc. and are suitable for use as a side molding protector, an arm rest for automobiles, etc. |
