PURPOSE:To permit the automatic operation of a ventilating fan for air conditioning with a high accuracy, by a method wherein the ventilating fan for air conditioning is operated when the degree of the change of the detecting signal of a detecting circuit, which is changed in accordance with the change of the value of resistance of a detecting element whose value of resistance is changed in response to heat, has become higher than a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:A detecting circuit, constituted of an astable multivibrator circuit 2 and a waveform shaping circuit 3, is provided with a detecting element 1, whose value of resistance is changed in response to heat, and outputs a detecting signal which is changed in accordance with the change of the value of resistance of the detecting element 1. A micro-computer 4 outputs an output signal when the degree of change of the detecting signal of the detecting circuit has become higher than a predetermined value and stops the output signal when the degree of change has become lower than the predetermined value. A triode AC switch 6 operates a ventilat ing fan for air conditioning based on the output signal of the microcomputer 4. As a result, the automatic operation of the ventilating fan for air conditioning with a high accuracy, in which ventilation is started or stopped automatically in accordance with the operation or the stop of a room heater, may be effected.
