Abstract PURPOSE:To improve vehicle maintenance reliability by equipping a vehicle with a self-diagnosis device and a transmitter for diagnosed data, and providing a memory device for collecting and memorizing the transmitted data through a receiver at dealers' service center and the like wherein maintenance work is carried out. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle CA is provided with sensors 3a-3n for detecting various car conditions as an object of diagnosis such as battery voltage, hydraulic pressure and a cooling water level, and signals detected therefrom are inputted in a self-diagnosis device 4. Through comparative treatment with a predetermined evaluation standard for the diagnosis of troubles, said device 4 checks if there exists any trouble and the diagnosed data therefrom are transmitted to dealers' service center SS and the like from a transmitting antenna 1 via a transmitter 5. At the service center SS, said diagnosed data are received and reproduced by a receiver 6 via a receiving antenna 2, and memorized in a data memory device 7, thereby enabling the detection of the disorder of the vehicle CA at the service center SS.
