Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the title cutting oil capable of functioning both as a lubricat ing oil and a cutting oil which can suppress the propagation of bacteria and is excellent in antirust property and cutting ability, by adding an antirust agent, an antiseptic agent, an anticorrosive, and an anti-foaming agent to a specified composition. CONSTITUTION:2-20pts. 8-16C alkyl dibasic acid (salt) is blended with 2-20pts. mixture obtd. by mixing a phosphate (salt) and polyoxyalkylene alkylphenyl ether in a ratio of 7-3:3-7, 2-20pts. polymerized oil of vegetable and animal oil, 2-20pts. glycols, 20-50pts. water, 4-40pts. ethanolamine and, if necessary, 2-5pts. mineral oil, thereby obtaining a compsn. An antirust agent, an antiseptic agent, an anticorrosive, and an anti-foaming agent are added to the compsn. to obtain the titled cutting oil. The cutting oil is used as it is for lubricating oil applications and is diluted by a factor of 10-20 for use as a cutting oil.
