Summary:PURPOSE:To provide the titled coating material having excellent heat resistance and high processability, by blending a polyamide resin solid, a polyether sulfone resin solid and frit. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) polyamide resin (A) obtd. by reacting an acid anhydride with a diamine in a polar solvent, 15-40pts.wt. (on a solid basis) polyether sulfone resin (B) having a repeating unit of the formula, obtd. by the polycondensation of dichlorodiphenyl sulfone, 50-80pts.wt. frit (C) composed of frit having a softening point of 300-400 deg.C and optionally, frit having a softening point of 380-480 deg.C and a polar solvent (e.g. dimethylformamide) contg. optionally, heat-resisting pigment, dispersion stabilizer, coating film modifier, etc.) are kneaded together to obtain the coating material. The coating material is applied to a substrate (e.g. aluminum sheet) and baked at 250-300 deg.C for 1-2min to obtain a precoated metal, which is then molded.
