Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a square pipe made of FRP whose bending rigidity are high, by a method wherein a partition plate connected with a reinforcing fiber is formed with the reinforcing fiber by stacking resin impregnated reinforcing fiber layers wound round molds in two layers. CONSTITUTION:A continuous reinforcing fiber 7 impregnated wit resin is wound round the external circumference of molds 5, 5' at a predetermined thickness while the same is being crossed at a predetermined angle while the molds 5, 5' are being turned centering around rotary shafts 6 by providing them attachably and detachably on both ends of each of the molds respectively. Then the two wound-up articles are combined so that fiber layer on mating face forms a partition plate, to which fixing jigs 9 whose both ends from which shafts are removed are provided with rotary shafts 8 are fitted. In this instance, a space between the molds 5, 5' is adjusted to that a thickness of the partition plate becomes predetermined dimensions. When the two wound-up articles are fixed by jigs 9 by assembling them like this, the resin impregnated continuous fiber is wound round the external circumference of an assembled body until the fiber becomes a predetermined thickness. Then the impregnating resin is cured by heating the fiber and the same is demolded.
