Abstract | PURPOSE:To count clock pulses reproduced from a clock track to record one continuously recordable data track separately on plural areas by providing the clock track on a recording medium and scanning the clock track at the recording time. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal 6a reproduced from an optical head 6 is digitized to a digital signal 21a by a binary-coding circuit 21 and is inputted to a preset counter 22. A prescribed counted value inputted preliminarily to this preset counter 22 is compared with the integral value of the digital signal from the binary-coding circuit 21; and when the integral value reaches the prescribed counted value, a carry signal 22a is inputted to a controller 23 from the preset counter 22, and the data track is separated on a basis of the carry signal. Thus, one continuously recordable data track is recorded separately on plural areas. |
