Summary: | PURPOSE:Aim at a distinct improvement in power efficiency, by installing labyrinth packing in space between a double-flow type nozzle box inner circumferential surface and a rotor outer circumferential surface. CONSTITUTION:Each of packing ring clamping grooves 18a and 18b is formed in projection parts 16a and 16b on an inner circumferential surface of a double- flow type nozzle box, and two pieces of labyrinth packing 19a and 19b are attached thereto. Annular projections 17a and 17b are installed on an outer circumferential surface of a rotor 14 corresponding to these projection parts 16a and 16. With this constitution, leaked steam 10 out of space between the nozzle box 3 and a first stage moving blade 5b at the generator side is sealed up so that power efficiency is improvable. |
