Abstract PURPOSE:To improve auxiliary work function in a carrier device for use in performing multiple main works such as a test, a forming, printing of marks etc. on a semiconductor element by dividing the positions of the said main works and the position of the auxiliary work, wherein the carrier signal of a semiconductor element is led out. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor element 1 is carried by sliding the said element to the longitudinal direction of guide rails 2 and 3. And, for instance, partition sticks 5-12 are provided with intervals on the sliding direction in order to send an element intermittently. Among the positions A-H to be divided by partition sticks, main works such as a test, a forming, printing of marks etc. are performed for the element at positions A, C, E and G, and at positions B, D, F and H, an auxiliary work is performed, wherein the element after completion of the main works is detected. The pertition sticks are projected above the sliding surface or burried below the sliding surface alternately, and elements are moored at the main or the auxiliary work position. Hence, the main and the auxiliary work positions are separated, the main work mechanism is simplified and the function of the auxiliary work can be improved.
