Abstract PURPOSE:To control with a constant current in a simple circuit configuration by controlling the saturating time of a saturable reactor of a controller by a constant-voltage detector controlled by a signal of a constant-current detector. CONSTITUTION:A constant-current control circuit has a controller 4 including saturable reactors 401, 402, a rectifier 5, the first smoothing circuit 6, a constant- current detector 7 and a constant-voltage detector 8, and supplies a constant current output through the second smoothing circuit 9 to a load 10. Thus, the output terminal of the detector 7 and the input terminal of the detector 8 are connected, and the output terminal of the detector 8 is connected with the input terminal of the controller 4. Thus, when the load 10 varies, the saturating times of the reactors 401, 402 are controlled by the detector to the prescribed load, the detector controls it through the detector 8 when it becomes large than that to control with a constant current.
