Abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain an antistatic effect over a long period of time, by using an organometallic compound as an organic monomer gas used in plasma treatment. CONSTITUTION:As an organic gas is used an organometallic compound. As the organometallic compound use in made of a compound wherein a metal and an organic group are combined by covalent bonding, ionic bonding, or coordinate bonding, for example organozinc compounds, organomercury compounds, organocadmium compounds, etc. Plasma polymerization treatment is carried out for example in such a manner that when high frequency discharge is to be carried out, a plastic, that is, a base, is placed in a vacuum container having electrodes, vapour of an organometallic compound is introduced thereinto, and after the system is kept generally at 10<-3>-5Torr, a high frequency electric power is applied. |
