Abstract | PURPOSE:To reduce fuel consumption by giving pseudo-vehicle speed signal and- throttle opening signal to maintain the speed change ratio of an automatic transmission body at the fourth speed to an automatic transmission controlling means when an automatic vehicle speed controlling means is operated. CONSTITUTION:When an automatic vehicle speed controlling means 16 is operated, it generates the operative signal output to an automatic transmission controlling means 14 to give to said means 14 pseudo-vehicle speed signal and throttle opening signal to maintain the speed change ratio of an automatic transmission body 13 at the fourth speed. Thus, since the speed change ratio of the automatic transmission body 13 can be always allowed for the fourth speed irrespective of the vehicle speed signal and the throttle opening signal, the travelling range of the fourth speed can be expanded to reduce fuel consumption. |
