Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent cavitation in a circulation pump and shorten the time for pressure reduction operation by providing an overcooling zone wherein a part of the nest of heat transfer tubes of a condensor is dripped in condensed liquid so as to overcool the saturated solution which is condensed. CONSTITUTION:When a plant is started for making pressure reduction operation, liquid level is controlled high as to dip the nest of heat transfer tubes of a medium condensor 1 in the liquid. Condensate 1 is overcooled in the above mentioned method so that cavitation may be prevented in a liquid circulation pump 5. Since the prevention of the cavitation permits increase of the rate at which pressure is reduced, hence starting the plant within a shorter time. |
