Abstract PURPOSE:To provide, the adequate heavy water flow distribution in core tank and stabilize power distribution of core by supporting a plurality of pressure tubes wherein the fuel assembly is mounted and providing anti-vibration plate having the passage of heavy water in which liquid poison is dissolved. CONSTITUTION:Heavy water passage holes 31 penetrated through the top side of the anti-vibration plate 23 are provided for the location to secure the flow of core center portion from the antivibration plate. Further, with consideration of the discharge quantity from the heavy water discharge hole 24 located at the bottom of anti-vibration plate 23, and heavy water flow infeeding from passage 26 to the top side, the size of holes 31 or ornumbers of penetration is decided so that all flow distribution may be large at around the center of core and small at the outside. For increasing heavy water flow at the center of core, heavy water discharge hole is provided for the control rod guide tube 5 located at the center of core, in which one hole at the top location of anti-vibration plate 23, two holes for the bottom location of anti-vibration plate 23 and one hole for other tubes.
