Abstract PURPOSE:To obtin a simple analog multiplication circuit which is free from adjustment by comparing the output voltage obtained by scanning the output voltage every one shot of the output pulses of a voltage-frequency converting circuit with the 2nd voltage and then integrating both voltages. CONSTITUTION:The 1st voltage Vx is applied to a terminal 1 and supplied to a voltage-frequency converting circuit 3 which produces a pulse train Px corresponding to the input voltage. The train Px is supplied to a voltage scanning circuit 4 which is triggered by the rise of each pulse and synchronously with the train Px. The output voltage Sx is varied rectilinearly up to the specific potential Vs from the reference potential ''0'' every time of triggering. The voltages Sx is compared with the output Vy' of a DC voltage detecting circuit 5 based on the 2nd voltage Vy supplied to a terminal 2 through a comparator 6. An output waveform Pc repeats inversion between the zero potential and the power supply voltage Vo and is applied to an average value circuit 7. The average output voltage signal Vz emerging at an output terminal 8 is proportional to the product of Vx and Vy. Thus it is possible to obtain a multiplication circuit which is virtaully free from adjustment with a simple constitution.
