PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic bright product having a crystal pattern by forming a smooth resin surface on the surface of an inorg. product after subjecting the product to predrying at a specific temp. or below then depositing a thin film of a metal by evaporation on said surface and further painting a transparent synthetic resin curable by UV onto the surface, drying quickly the coating at a specific temp. or above and irradiating UV rays thereon. CONSTITUTION:A curable resin is coated on the surface of an inorg. product 1 such as an iron sheet and after predrying at <=90 deg.C, the coated resin is cured at a high temp. to form a primer layer 2 consisting of the resin having a smooth surface. A thin film of a metal such as Al is deposited by evaporation under the reduced pressure on the resin surface and a transparent synthetic resin paint curable by UV rays is coated thereon to the thickness larger than the thickness of the film 3 deposited by evaporation. The coated paint is dried quickly at >=110 deg.C and UV rays are irradiated thereon to cure a thin transparent resin film 4. Line-shaped build-up 5 and many fine lines 7 in the direction perpendicular to the build-up 5 are formed on the surface of the film 4 by the above-mentioned method, by which the metallic bright product having the crystal pattern is obtd.
