Abstract | PURPOSE:To shorten a time required for switching a circuit by deciding a rank to each of plural spare circuits in accordance with a switching state and a fault state, and selecting the spare circuit whose priority rank is the lowest with respect to a switching request generated newly. CONSTITUTION:Spare circuits SP1, 2 are switched and connected to existing circuits (SYS1-SYS3) 3-5 by sending-end parallel switches SW61-63, 71-73, and receiving-end switching SWs 81-83, 91-93, respectively. As for a rank of the spare circuit, the lowest priority rank is set to a dead spare circuit, and in case the spare circuit is faulty or busy, the highest rank is set. Also, even in case switching to the spare circuit is executed, the priority rank is set to automatic switching, manual switching, spare operation switching, etc. A switching request signal 17 is received by SP1 use and SP2 use circuit switching control parts 12, 13, a spare circuit whose rank is the lowest is selected 15 from a rank detecting circuit 14, it is compared 16 with a rank signal 18 of a switching request, and switching to the spare circuit is decided. |
