Summary:PURPOSE:To directly magnify an electron image radiated by an organism, etc. by forming an image magnifying space via lines of electric force or lines of magnetic force in an extremely narrow area between a sample under observation generation electrons of unkonwn distribution in a space containing gas and a magnifying surface arranged nearly in parallel and having a surface capable of holding or storing by absorption the electrons from the sample. CONSTITUTION:A thin dielectric sample plate 2 is arranged in an atmospheric-gas space, and a medium 1 containing organism cells is mounted on it. This medium 1 is stimulated by the radiation from a radiation stimultaing means 7. An extremely fine peak electrode 3 is arragned near the lower side of the thin dielectric sample plate 2. An electric field shifting the electrons generated by the organism cells in the magnifying surface 4 direction is generated between this peak electrode 3 and a thin conductive layer 4b on the rear surface of the magnifying surface 4 by a DC power source 5. Electrons generated at an optional point of the organism cells move along lines of electric force and reach the magnifying surface 4. For example, electrons generated at O0 point of the organism cells reach P0 point of the magnifying surface 4, and electrons generated at O1 point reach P1 point of the magnifying surface 4. Since P0P1> O0O1, the electron image of the organism cells is magnified on the magnifying surface 4.
