Abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer of high polymerization degree in high yield, by polymerizing an inorganic acid salt of monoallylamine in the presence of an azo based initiator, e.g. 2,2'-azobis-(2-carboxyalkyl-propionamidoxime), etc. in a polar solvent. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic acid salt of monoalkylamine is polymerized in the presence of an azo based initiator such as a compound expressed by formula I (R1 and R2 are 1-4C alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl, phenyl or benzyl; n is an integer 0-4), e.g. 2,2'-azobis-(2-carboxymethyl-propionamidoxime), or a compound expressed by formula II, e.g. 2,2'-azobis-(2-carboxymethyl-propionehydroxamic acid), in a polar solvent, e.g. phosphoric acid, to afford the aimed polymer. |
