Abstract | PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of accuracy without mutual influence between the dimensional accuracy and the printing accuracy by providing a measuring wheel for measuring length of a filamentous body and a marking wheel for printing a length mark separately. CONSTITUTION:The length of a filamentous body 28 running at a specified speed is measured with a measuring device 29 and a pulse signal corresponding to the measured value is generated from a pulse generator 30. This pulse signal is inputted into a controller 26, with which a drive motor 27 of a marking wheel 21 is driven intermittently. A specified length mark is printed on the surface of the filamentous body 28 passing between a printing head 23 provided on the circumference of the marking wheel 21 and a guide roller 22 provided right therebelow. The printing head 23 which completed the printing rotates at a speed higher than the running speed of the filamentous body 28 together with the marking wheel 21, stops at a specified position and then, waits until the sequent control signal arrives. This facilitates the adjustment of accuracy. |
