Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a vinyl chloride resin compsn. which gives moldings having uniform matte surfaces and excellent thermal stability, by blending a specified isocyanurate compd. with vinyl chloride monomer and copolymerizing them. CONSTITUTION:0.1-5wt% tris (2-acryloxyethyl) isocyanurate or tris (2-methacryloxyethyl) isocyanurate or mixture thereof is blended with vinyl chloride monomer. The mixture is copolymerized by suspension polymn. or emulsion polymn. to obtain the desired vinyl chloride resin compsn. In molding this resin compsn., conventional plasticizer such as dioctyl phthalate, stabilizer such as lead stearate, etc. which are used for the processing of polyvinyl chloride can be used. The resulting moldings have matte surfaces and excellent thermal stability.
