Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a compact motor for generating large torque by using a special planet gear in a gear assembly for reducing the rotational frequency of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor 22 is controlled by a keyless steering lock control circuit. A gear assembly 23 is constituted from an input gear 40 fixed to a motor shaft, a planet gear 41 meshing with the input gear 40 and having a center shaft 44 revolving around the center shaft of the input gear, a fixed gear 42 meshing with the planet gear 41 and an output gear 43 meshing with the planet gear 41 and having the number of teeth larger than the fixed gear 42 while being provided on an output shaft 36. Since a special planet gear is used for the gear assembly for reducing the rotational frequency of motor in the keyless steering lock, the motor can be made compact and generate large torque to move a rod to the releasing position even if the capacity of battery is reduced. |
