Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent or eliminate a dew condensation by transferring a heating of a battery being a driving power source in a VTR, to a cylinder by a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:An evaporating part 4a (endothermic part) of a heat pipe 4 is inserted into a hole of a battery 3 being a driving power source, and a condensing part 4b (radiating part) is connected thermally to the inside of a lower cylinder 2. A working fluid such as a freon gas, etc. is enclosed in a vessel 5 of the heat pipe 4, and as for a wick 6 constituted of a thin wire of copper, etc., the working fluid is evaporated from the wick surface of the evaporating part 4a by a heat generated from the inside of the battery. It is condensed on the wick surface of the condensing part 4b, and returned to the evaporating part 4a by utilizing a capillary phenomenon. When a temperature is 5 deg.C, a temperature of a lead surface of the cylinder 2 is raised to 9 deg.C in 5min. When a battery output is 10W, heating-up is executed by a heat transmission of 3W, therefore, a small heat energy of the battery can be utilized effectively.
