Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate the connection of an inner layer coil strand to an outer layer coil strand by setting the twisting direction of the metal wire in an inside connecting aid opposite to that of the metal wire in an outside connecting aid. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential direction of the metal wire 10 is twisted at the prescribed angle in the projecting strips 8b, 9b of connecting aids 8, 9, and the twisting direction of the metal wire 10 in the aid 8 is opposite to that of the metal wire 10 in the aid 9. Accordingly, the adjacent wires 10 are connected radially at the tops of the projecting strips 8b, 9b of the aids 8, 9, respectively, and the connection of the inner layer coil strands 5 isolated at the prescribed angle to the outer layer coil 6 can be facilitated by connecting the wires 10 of the bases 8a, 9a to the coil strands 5, 6 of the inner and outer layers.
