Abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound in the free from of formulaI[Pc is phthalocyanine residue; A is -OH, formula II (R1 and R2 are H, CH3, C2H5 or C2H4OH); B is -CH2CH2NH-or formula III (R is H, CH3 or C2H5; R3 and R4 are H, CH3, C2H5, OCH3, halogen or COOH); X is beta-(thio)sulfatoethyl, beta-chloroethyl, vinyl, etc.; Y is H, Cl or SO3H; m is 0, 1 or 2; a is 0-3; b is 0-2; c is 1-4; a+b+c< 4; SO3H and SO2A are linked to the 3- or 4- positions of different benzene rings in Pc]. EXAMPLE:The compound of formula IV. USE:A dye for dyeing wool, silk, cotton, viscose, rayon, leather, etc., particularly cellulosic fibers, in greenish blue color. PROCESS:A compound of formula V, e.g. the compound of formula VI, is condensed with a compound of formula VII, e.g. aniline-2-beta-sulfatoethyl sulfone, and 1,3,5-trichlorotriazine in any order.
