Abstract | PURPOSE:To improve working ratio and working speed and enable working of long sized tubes in an inner and outer faces working machine for metallic tubes by inclining plural rolls to the axial line of a metallic tube and holding a plug for inner face working in inside of the tube. CONSTITUTION:A metallic tube 1 is transferred from left direction to right direction by a metallic tube transferring mechanism provided in the rear of an inner and outer faces working machine 3 for metallic tubes. While passing a metallic tube drawing machine 2, the tube 1 is rolled to specified diameter and thickness by a die 21 and a drqwing plug 22. Nex, in passing a working machine 3, a spiral groove is formed at the inside of the tube. At this time, the rolls 32 make pressure contact to the tube 1 inclining at a specified angle to the axial line of the tube 1. Accordingly, the rolls rotates with rotation of a roll support 31, and at the same time, rotate on their own axes and exert frictional force in the direction of transfer of the tube 1 and in the direction of contact of the outer face. Thereforce, inner face of the tube 1 is pressed to the inner face working plug 34 and a spiral groove is formed. On the other hand, as the plug 34 is connected with the plug 22 through a rod 35, it is always held at a position corresponding to the rolls 32. |
