Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform restoration action by analysing relation between earthquake motion, construction of elevators, and damage based on disaster data due to earthquke generated beforehead and data of the elevator controlled in operation, and predicting damage based on the analysis result and displaying it. SOLUTION: When earthquake is generated, the maximum acceleration values are collected by a information collecting means 1, and the maximum acceleration values applied to respective elevators are obtained based on them. Next construction information as to the respective elevators preserved in an information recording device 2 are drawn out, a damage case data base 4 is made by a data analysis means 3, and in addition a damage estimation data base 5 is made based on the made damage case data. Thereafter by the damage estimation means 6, the damaged position, the damaged condition, and the damage generating rate are read out following to the pattern of a part of the damage data, from the table in the range corresponding to the maximum acceleration values received with the elevators in a pattern data base, and the results are displayed on a display device 7.
