PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain good sliding performance for a long period not merely at the initial stage of slide motion. SOLUTION: In this manufacture, when a low frictional sliding material using a porous sintered body as a basic material is manufactured, a porous sintered body 15 is dipped in a dispersion medium 16 containing fine powder of a low frictional material. Then, ultrasonic waves are applied to this dispersion medium 16, causing the fine powder of the low frictional material contained in this medium 16 in dispersed state by ultrasonic energy, and the dispersion medium 16 in which the fine powder of the low frictional material is dispersed, is impregnated in porous part of the porous sintered body 15, whereby the fine powder of the low frictional material for ultrasonic operation is penetrated into the porous part to the inside of the porous sintered body 15.
