Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device for a vehicle in which its optical axis can be easily regulated, without using a circuit configuration of special specifications. SOLUTION: At regulating of the optical axis of a radar device R, which is temporally fastened to a vehicle arranged in a factory, a light-proof plate 160 is adhered to cover glass 30 so that the opening part of the light shielding plate 160 matches with the axis of light reception of the radar device R. Then a target member is arranged, so as to be opposed to the opening part in the front of the cover glass 30. In this state, the amount of deviation from the predetermined direction of the optical axis of the radar device R is computed and displayed on the basis of the results of light reception at the time, when laser light emitted from the emitting system of the radar device R is reflected by a target member, is passed through the opening part and is received by the light-receiving system of the radar device R. |
