PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook mounting and dismounting device for a cylinder gate for water intake capable of preventing the damage of a wire rope adjusting a position of an intake of the cylinder gate due to freezing of the water surface. SOLUTION: An upper part of a lifting hanger 53 is supported on a lifting beam 40 lifted and lowered by winding up and winding back of a wire rope 43 so as to oscillate freely. A hook 54 is provided in a lower part of the lifting hanger 53, and an inclined part is formed at a lower end of the hook 54. A guide lever 62 is attached to one side of the lifting hanger 53 so as to oscillate freely, and an inclined guide piece 64 overhanging on an opening of the hook 54 is provided in an upper part of the guide lever 62. An engaging pin 59 is provided on a water intake cylinder S1 at the uppermost position of a cylinder gate 3, the hook 54 is engaged and disengaged for the engaging pin 59 due to lifting and lowering of the lifting beam 40, the lifting beam 40 is pulled up due to the release of the engagement, and the wire rope 43 is taken out on a water surface to prevent the damage of the wire rope 43 due to freezing of the water surface.
