Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrodeposition device by which a uniform oxide film without irregularity is electrodeposited uniformly on a substrate and the oxide film appropriate to the reflecting layer of a solar cell, etc., can be prepared. SOLUTION: A current is applied between a substrate 1002 and an anode 1001 in an electrodepositon bath to form an oxide film on the substrate 1002 in this electrodeposition device. In the device, the width 1005 of the anode is set equal to or larger than the width 1007 of the opposed substrate.
