Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute quick and simple waterproof test by applying micro- differential pressure to the internal space of a tested machine by an air pump, and then measuring the change of the pressure with the passage of time by a micro-differential pressure gauge. SOLUTION: A tested machine 30 having a test connector is connected to a test pipe 120. Next a valve 50 and a stop valve 60 are opened to apply micro- differential pressure to the machine 30 by an air pump 10. The micro-differential pressure is regulated by a pressure regulator 40. When designated micro- differential pressure is obtained, the stop valve 60 is closed, and simultaneously the aged change of the micro-differential pressure by a micro-differential pressure is measured visually or by a recorder or the like. Thus the waterproof test time can be greatly reduced and the need of post-processing is eliminated.
