Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of use, and miniaturize a device by arranging the inside of a vacuum valve with inclination so that a movable conductor is turned between a fixed contact and a grounding conductor and that the movable conductor is connected to a load conductor and that a fixed conductor is connected to a bus-bar side conductor and that the grounding conductor is connected to an external grounding terminal and that a distance of the inner peripheral part of the contact is formed smaller than that of the outer peripheral part of the contact. SOLUTION: When an operating mechanism unit 38 connected to an outside end of a movable conductor 19 is driven so as to turn the movable conductor 19 in the vertical direction through a main shaft 35, in response to the turning, the movable conductor 19 is positioned at an ON position Y1, in which a movable contact 19A contacts with a fixed contact 16A, positioned at an OFF position Y2 turned downward from the ON position Y1, in which the current is cutoff, positioned at a circuit breaking position Y3 turned downward more, in which a sufficient insulating distance is secured so as to prevent the dielectric breakdown due to the lightning, etc., and generation of electric shock to a worker on the load conductor side, and positioned at a grounding position Y4 turned more downward so as to contact with a grounding conductor 17. Each position of the four positions can be continuously selected in order by one operation.
