Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject catalyst capable of providing building of mechanical strength at low temperature and low air humidity, excellent in temperature stability and capable of producing a polyurethane system of rapidity and storage stability type, comprising morpholine as a base. SOLUTION: This catalyst contains a morpholine group of the formula (n+m>1; R1 to R14 are each H or an alkyl. The catalyst is extremely suitably useful for an isocyanate containing one component polyurethane system. In this case, preferably the amount of the catalyst is 0.1-2wt.% based on the whole amount of the polyurethane composition. The catalyst can be used as an adhesive, a sealing material, a laminating substance and/or an undercoating material. Consequently, a skin-forming time is made slow, a bonding time is prolonged and the catalyst is suitably used for a material to be bonded such as metal, glass, ceramic, etc. |
