Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a communication processing without any delay until check point collection in a computer system which can recover from failure by advancing a processing while collecting a check point, and executing the processing by rolling back to a finally collected check point at the time of the generation of failure. SOLUTION: A client computer 10 stores a transmitted communication packet, and when failure is generated in a fault tolearance(FT) computer 1, the stored communication packet is re-transmitted to the FT computer 1, and a processing is resumed. The FT computer 1 can transmit the communication packet to the client computer 10 regardless of check point collection, and a waiting time for check point collection can be unnecessitated for communication between the FT computer 1 and the client computer 10. |
