Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce temperature dependency of alarm indication by providing a temperature detection function so as to change a residual capacity display voltage of a battery depending on temperature. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 4 discriminates whether or not ambient temperature is a room temperature or a low temperature based on the output of a temperature detection element 5 to set a residual capacity alarm display voltage. When a secondary battery 1 starts discharging, a microcomputer 4 monitors the voltage of the secondary battery 1 and when the voltage of the secondary battery 1 reaches a residual warning display voltage, the microcomputer 4 gives an instruction of output of alarm indication to a character signal generating circuit 8. The temperature element 5 is provided and a set voltage of the residual capacity alarm indication is changed by temperature to reduce the temperature dependency of alarm indication is reduced. |
