Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to extend the running distance of an electric automobile, by accurately grasping the remaining capacitance by operating the remaining capacitance of a main battery by an electric-quantity computing means with the signal from the main battery as the input, and supplying the electric power supplied for charging an accessory battery to the running. SOLUTION: An electric-quantity computing means 7 computes and operates the charging/discharging current of a main battery 1, constantly operates the remaining capacitance of the main battery 1 and outputs a signal 8 when the remaining capacitance of the main battery becomes less than the predetermined constant value. In a DC/DC converter 5, control for switching the constant voltage value for charging an accessory battery 3 from V1 to V2 (V2<V1) is performed when the input of the signal 8 is present. That is to say, the remaining capacitance of the main battery 1 is adequately measured and operated by the electric-quantity detecting means 7. The final period of the capacitance of the main battery, which is to change output of the DC/DC converter 5, is adequately detected. The output voltage of the DC/DC converter 5 is decreased from V1 to V2.
